About Us

We wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves to you and to explain the origins of the name of our little business.

Trewlea Tasty Cakes and Bakes was created by two people. Myself, (Andrew) and my partner Ashlea. We've both had a passion for baking for many years and decided that it's finally time to share that passion with others.

The name Trewlea Tasty Cakes & Bakes was designed with our names in mind. The 'Rew' being a part of my name and the 'Lea' being a part of Ashlea's name. We thought it would be nice to add just a little bit of us into the mixture!

Ashlea made her first "professional" cake for her sisters 13th birthday when she was 19 years old, but has had a passion for baking her whole life. When we started our relationship 13 years ago it didn't take her long to get me helping in the kitchen. (Even if it was just to taste test the finished product!)

Fast forward 5 years to when we got our own place and baking together became a regular activity for us both to enjoy. Since then, our passion and skills have only grown and we look forward to being able to share it with you!
